Carton House and Estate enjoys an enviable location just off the M4 outside Maynooth, 22km from Dublin City.

In 1837 the town of Maynooth was described as being “of one principal street, at one extremity of which is the avenue leading to Carton, the magnificent seat of the present Duke of Leinster, and at the other the Royal College of St. Patrick”. It’s a description that’s still accurate today - only the Duke is missing.

The M4 motorway which by-passes the town links Maynooth to all the major routes in the country and Dublin airport is less than half an hour’s drive. There is also a regular commuter rail service to the city centre.
